The Optical Metrology Research Laboratory in the Department of Physics at the University of Tehran, established in 2010, aims to develop new experimental methods and theoretical studies for precise measurements by optical approaches. Our research activities concentrate on but are not
limited to, interferometry, Móire technique, structured illumination, and diffractometry. The challenge that we take upon ourselves is to conceive projects and develop measurement methods that help us conduct precise measurements, especially for thin films, low dimensional structures, optical components, ranging, and material studies.
