Opto-electronic Devices based on 2D Materials

 Abstract:

The exceptional surface-to-volume ratio and high electron mobility of 2D materials entitles them as promising candidates for opto-electronic applications. In order to improve the detectivity and gain of the detectors, utilizing the 2D materials based hybrids and composites have been studied in recent years. In this talk I shall describe aforementioned unique properties of 2D materials and their hybrids and take advantage of these properties to fabricate high performance opto-electronic devices.
